The service
Online ZIP Viewer is a free website that lets you open and inspect ZIP archives in your web browser. It is provided as-is, at no cost, with no account required.
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice. We aim to keep it available, but we do not promise uninterrupted access.
Acceptable use
You may use this tool for any lawful purpose. You agree not to use it to process material you have no right to access, to infringe anyone's intellectual property, to distribute malware, or to attempt to disrupt, overload or attack the site or its infrastructure.
The open-from-URL feature must not be used to access private, internal or access-controlled systems, or to route traffic in a way that disguises its origin. Requests to private and reserved network addresses are blocked.
You are responsible for the archives you open and for complying with any laws or agreements that apply to their contents.
No warranty
The service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the tool will read every archive correctly, that previews will render accurately, or that it will be free of errors. Archive formats vary and some are damaged, unusual or deliberately malformed. Do not rely on this tool as your only means of verifying important data.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Intellectual property
The site's design, text and code are ours. The files you open are yours — we claim no rights over anything you view with this tool, and we never receive it in the first place.
This site is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to WinZip, WinRAR, 7-Zip, PKWARE or any other archive software vendor.
Governing terms
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
